What is Kinesiology?Kinesiology is a natural health care system which uses gentle muscle testing to
evaluate many functions of the body in the structural, chemical, neurological, and
biochemical realms. What is a Kinesiology session like? The therapist will start by discussing your current problem and wider medical
history and lifestyle. Some kinesiologist will muscle test by using your arm or hand, others
will not actually touch you, but will muscle test using their own body. In some cases you may be asked
to lie on a treatment couch, other therapists may test while you are seated. You may be asked to hold
particular objects, such as bach flower remedies to see if your body requires them, or the therapist may touch
these objects themsleves, or they may have another way of working. The therapist may use a technique to
release a block on the spot, such as EFT, or may recommend that you wear a certain crystal for a period of time
or suggest some other form of treatment such as massage.
What are the benefits of Kinesiology?Kinesiology restores the whole system to balance, facilitating the self-healing process.
