Planet Earth and humanity are going through immense changes at the moment as we go through a shift in our consciousness.

In 1987 there was a major shift in the earth energies and this has triggered the ‘awakening’ that is now happening. Many people have become interested in ‘New Age’ matters and things like Reiki are becoming more and more popular.

In 2012 we come to the end of the Mayan calendar and there have been many different predictions about what will happen at that time and what we need to do in preperation.

Some of the ideas include:

• As we move towards 2012 everything is speeding up. Some claim there is now scientific evidence for the theory that the days are going faster.
• The next few years in Earth's history will be years where we have a real opportunity to let go of negative energy and burdens we have carried for many years. There will be opportunities to clear karma we have brought forward for generations and from past lives.
• Our DNA is changing as we prepare for ascension. As this happens our bodies undergo many changes and we may suffer from headaches, fatigue and illness. However, this is just temporary as our bodies adjust.
• Some children being born now are especially sensitive and already on their way to ascension. They may already have changed DNA patterns. This is one explanation for the increase in problems such as ADHD and Asbergers. These children are sometimes referred to as Star Children.
